Canvas Print Types

Here at Expressions On Canvas we try to accommodate everyone's different tastes. So we are proud to offer 3 different Canvas print types. We offer Rolled Canvas, Single Panel and Tri-Panels.

Canvas Print Thickness

Some people like thick and others like thin. Some want the option to frame there print while others don’t want a frame. That is why we offer 2 thicknesses. 3/4” and 1 1/2” thick canvas prints.

Thin Canvas

Thinking about have your canvas print framed. Then this is the perfect thickness for you. You don't have to get it framed but there are more options with the 3/4" thick compared to the 1 1/2" thick canvas prints. Here are some details:

• High quality solid 3/4" stretcher bars
• Perfect thickness for using with a frame
• All canvas prints come with a sawtooth hanger

Thick Canvas Prints

Our most popular thickness. The 1 1/2" has a nice grand presence when on the wall. When paired up with our gallery wrap option you almost guaranteed to impress. Here are some details:

• High quality solid 1 1/2" stretcher bars
• Nice solid thickness for your print
• All canvas prints come with a sawtooth hanger

Canvas Print Edge Options

Its all about the little details that really sets apart the rest. Sometimes one edge design works great for one pic but another pic it just doesn’t work. Thats why we have options. Who doesn’t love options! You can select either Gallery Wrap or Black Wrap or White Wrap or pick a custom color.

Gallery Wrap

Gallery wraps are when the image stretches around the side of the print. It really gives your print that little extra something when hanging on the wall. Not all photos are ideal for gallery wrapping though. If your not sure we would be happy to verify if it would work for you before we make your canvas.

Black Wrap

Black wraps is when the sides of the canvas print is black leaving the front with the image only. The black gives the photo a lot of depth making the print looked almost framed. When your print doesn't work for gallery wrap option or just looking for more of a formal look then this is a great choice.

White Wrap

White wraps is when the sides of the canvas is white leaving the front with the image only. This is a great option when you looking to keep the overall print on the brighter side or if you plan on having the picture framed.

Custom Color Wrap

Custom color wrap is when the sides of the canvas are any other color besides black and white. This option can be fun when you have a unique photo and for that custom finish. You can select you color from the drop down box when your ordering your canvas print.

Canvas Print Artistic Options

Looking to spice up your photo a little? Maybe your into Black & White photos or how about a Grunge Watercolor? Well we got you covered with one of our six photo options. The six artistic options we offer are Full Color, Black & White, Sepia, Grunge Watercolor, Oil Painting, and last but not least Color Pencil Sketch.

Full Color

Our most popular artistic option. Our 12 color printers utilize the latest technology to provide you the most accurate color print. So when we say full color we mean it!

Black & White

Black & White artistic option is when we convert your photo to black & white for your canvas print. The beauty and elegance of a black & white print is unmatched to anything else.

Sepia

Sepia artistic option is when we convert your photo to a sepia tone. Sepia toning is a specialized treatment to give your photographic print a warmer tone than traditional black & white and to enhance its archival qualities.

Grunge Watercolor

Grunge watercolor artistic option is when we convert your photo using a series of custom filters to achieve a watercolor picture look with a grunge feel. This can be a very fun option if your looking for that modern/artistic feel for you canvas print.

Oil Painting

Oil painting artistic option is when we convert you photo using a series of filters to achieve a custom oil painting look. A perfect blend between photo and art.

Color Pencil Sketch

Color pencil sketch artistic option is when we convert you photo using a series of filters to achieve a color pencil sketch look. This is a technique works better on some photos than others. We would recommend selecting to receive a digital proof if you would like this filter to make sure you get the look that you would like.

Retouching your photo

Is your favorite photo a little over exposed or did you have the date stamp on when you took that great photo? Don’t worry. We offer a free standard retouching option.

Retouching

Our goal is for our customers to have there photos on canvas to be perfect. So this is why we offer this service. We have a series of techniques that we can use on your photo to improve the overall look. Here is what the standard retouching covers:

• Over exposed
• Color balance
• Date stamp removal
• Red eye

Advanced Retouching

If you photo needs a little more than our standard retouching then this is your option. We want to better serve you and all your needs. We have a series of techniques that we can use to address those minor issues with your photo. Here is what the advanced retouching covers:

• Removal of minor blemishes on skin (scars, pimples, ect.)
• Removal of minor secondary background images (bird in sky, toys, ect.)
• Adding text to photo

Digital Proofs

Want to see what your photo will look like after an Artistic Option or Retouching before we print? Well we want you to be happy with your canvas print so that is why we offer free digital proofs. From there we can make any necessary tweaks if any are required and email over a new proof.
